Isla Cristina is a locality with a natural richness that is out of the norm whether it be ocean or dry land related. It has an incredible fauna and flora with plenty of green spaces and savage beaches to enjoy.

The Coast Park for example is in the city, sand dunes and pedestrian trails, s well as the Marshlands in Isla Cristina where you´ll find hundreds of bird species, local birds as well as migrating. You must come see the beautiful and colorful flamingos. The big sand dunes and pine forests hold an important number of chameleons, one of the few areas of the iberian penninsula where you can find them. We must also not fail to mention the beauty of this location and breathtaking views.

On the other hand if nature is what you are passionate about, you must know taht not far away is the Marshlands of Odiel, as well as the National Park of Donana. Both are important spots from an ecological point ov view as well as a tourist point of view. Birdwatching is a fascinating activity to take part in, in these loacations.
